Los cuerpos dóciles muestra la vida del abogado penalista Alfredo García Kalb. Junto a él se retrata el proceso que lleva a dos jóvenes marginales a enfrentarse al aparato judicial argentino; como éste opera en la aplicación de la pena y las consecuencias que tendrá sobre ellos y su entorno familiar. Se verá cómo el protagonista ejerce la profesión de un modo tal en el que se tornan difusos los límites entre lo prohibido, lo permitido, lo personal y lo profesional. Cuestionando el sentido del derecho penal en la actualidad, y observando la tensión que existe entre el encierro y la libertad.

Docile Bodies shows the life of criminal attorney Alfredo García Kalb. Next to him, we follow the process of two young marginal boys who have to face Argentine legal system, how it operates in issuing a sentence and the consequences it will have on them and their families. We will witness how the protagonist works in a way that the limits between the forbidden, the allowed, the personal and the professional become blurred, questioning the meaning of criminal law in today’s society, and observing the tension between confinement and freedom.
